Following the update of the GWO training standards, the training content of BST and related courses was revised in September 2026. Under this revision, the BST Refresher course should have been delivered entirely face-to-face from October onwards. However, due to an error on our part, it was set up as a blended course combining e-learning (BL-BST-R).

We sincerely apologise to everyone who has made a booking for the inconvenience this has caused.

1. Changes

From October onwards, the BST Refresher course will be delivered entirely face-to-face at our centre, including the theory sessions. As a result, the course durations will be as follows:

BST5-R (with Sea Survival)	3 days
BST4-R (without Sea Survival)	2 days

2. To those who have already booked

We will contact each of you individually to discuss your course dates.

As all training, including the theory sessions, will be delivered face-to-face, there will be no e-learning component.

Detailed course schedules and any fee changes resulting from this update will be posted on this website as soon as they are confirmed.
