What is GWO

The wind power industry requires the utmost protection for the safety and health of its operators. As a result, the world's leading wind turbine manufacturers have formed the Global Wind Organization (GWO) to establish standards for a variety of safety training courses.
Based in Denmark, the Global Wind Organization is a non-profit organization founded by a partnership of wind turbine manufacturers and power generators. It establishes common international standards for safety training and emergency procedures for an injury-free working environment in the wind power industry.
